Kerincisungaipenuh.com, UNIK – Memotret diri merupakan aktivitas yang digemari hampir semua orang. Bahkan, banyak orang melakukan swafoto setiap hari, seperti Hugo Cornellier. Pria asal Montreal, Kanada, itu merupakan penggila selfie yang cukup unik.
Dikutip Kerincisungaipenuh.com dari Mirror, Selasa (12/9/2017), Hugo tak pernah absen berswafoto selama sembilan tahun. Ia mulai gemar memotret wajahnya sejak 2008. Hal itu ia lakukan setelah melihat seorang fotografer, Noah Kalina, yang memiliki koleksi foto selfie.
Kala itu, Hugo yang berusia 12 tahun ingin memiliki koleksi foto seperti Noah. Ia kemudian memotret wajahnya selama satu bulan. Begitu melihat hasilnya, ia merasa puas dan meneruskan kebiasaan itu. Bukan tanpa alasan, ia sengaja melakukannya untuk melihat perubahan di wajahnya. Dalam waktu sembilan tahun, ia memiliki lebih dari 2.500 foto.
Semua foto itu kemudian digabungkan dalam video yang diunggah di channel Youtube-nya, Hugo Cornellier. Video bertajuk 12 Years old to my wedding day (12 tahun sampai hari pernikahanku) itu memperlihatkan perubahan wajah Hugo. Pria berusia 21 tahun itu mengakhiri kebiasaannya berswafoto setelah menikahi kekasihnya, Juliana, akhir Agustus 2017 lalu.
Menariknya, hampir foto yang ada di video unik itu memiliki ekspresi sama. Hugo nyaris tak pernah memperlihatkan senyumnya. Di hari bahagianya, ia akhirnya memamerkan senyum manis yang selama ini selalu ia sembunyikan.
